Intel Core i5 Home Theatre PC Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 8 GB RAM -

Mini ITX Home Theatre/ Server/ Desktop/ NAS/ PC Specifications: Processor: Intel Core i5 (Sandy Bridge 2405S - 2.5 GHz - 6 MB L3 Cache - LGA 1155 Socket) Has 4 cores, VERY powerful. • This is the low energy version that has a 60 W total power draw. Motherboard: AsRock H67M Mini ITX • SATA 3, DDR 3, USB 3.0, Integrated Graphics. • Connections: HDMI 4.0, DVI (capable of running dual monitors), Optical ToSlink, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 etc. See Picture or AsRock site for full specs. RAM: 8 GB Kingston (2 x 4 GB DDR 3, 1333 MHz) Hard Disk: Western Digital 500 GB Caviar Green, SATA 3 6 GB/s, 64 MB Cache, 3.5” Drive • The latest standard for hard-disks. Extremely fast data access and transfer rate. Case: Fractal Design Array R2 Mini ITX in black brushed aluminium with a 300W Silent 80% + efficiency rated power supply. This includes a large fan for cooling an array of hard disks and the speed can be controlled via motherboard settings menu. The fan is extremely quiet, much better than an XBOX 360 and PS3! You can also fit up to 6 hard-disks in this case for serious storage! Please see the Fractal Design website for full details. As you can see from the pictures, the case is very premium and looks even better when you see it for real. This PC is a spectacular self-build with all original receipts and guarantees such as the 3 year one which came with the Intel processor. It can be used as a HTPC (home theatre pc), media server, desktop pc, development pc for programming, NAS. Very versatile. You could even use it as a very powerful gaming rig if you purchase a dedicated graphics card. It gets nearly full marks on every category in the Windows Experience Index as you can see in the photo, except for graphics which is understandable as it doesn’t have a dedicated graphics card. HD films, BBC iPlayer programmes in HD etc run like a dream on this machine. It is VERY fast. It can even handle the latest games, but not on full settings. You need a dedicated card for that. Fully loaded with a brand new install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. The best version you can buy! Only purchased 3 months ago, originally to be used as a development pc for a project I was working on because I needed a machine that supported dual displays. I have no need for it now. * Please note that the PC doesn’t have any optical media drives such as DVD, Blu-Ray etc. Everything I load onto the machine is via USB. Let’s face it, optical media isn’t really necessary any longer and is going the same way as the 3.5” floppy drive. You could easily buy an external drive if you need one though.
